About Me
I love supporting creative teams to turn their ideas into a reality. I am passionate about projects which tell important stories and have a positive impact.
I enjoy working across different mediums as they each connect with audiences and tell stories in different ways.
I work in production management for television and company stage management for theatre and events.
I am known for my calmness under pressure, positive attitude and always being up for an adventure.
Career highlights include theatre shows in the West End, working for BBC Studios on Crimewatch Live and Natural History documentaries, Commonwealth Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies and events in Buckingham Palace and Parliament.
I am also extremely proud of the many meaningful projects I have worked on with young people.
I am based in Bristol and enjoy travelling for projects too.
How I Work
I believe in the importance of happy, healthy teams and see it as part of my role to contribute to this.
I like to partner with directors and creative teams and take time to understand their vision and working preferences so we can work towards actualising their goals together.
Feedback is hugely important to me. I will always check in with leaders during a project to find out if there’s anything I can be doing to better support them moving forward.
I believe in giving back to the creative community and dedicate some time each year for educational/outreach projects. I also mentor students who have faced additional barriers to support them to enter the creative industries.
In all situations, I believe in maintaining kindness, a sense of humor and a good supply of snacks.
Education and Training
I am a Politics graduate from Bristol University, funded by a Vice Chancellor’s Drama Scholarship for my extracurricular contribution to Theatre and Television societies. I also have an MA in Producing Film and Television with Distinction from Bournemouth University.
I trained as a Stage Manager at the National Youth Theatre where I went on to stage manage company productions and later to become the organisation’s Assistant Producer.
I was selected as a Clore Leadership Foundation Emerging Arts Leader and am a member of the Edinburgh TV Festival’s The Network scheme for emerging industry talent.
